(Hong Kong, 19 June 2024) – The Xinyi Group of companies, namely Xinyi Glass Holdings Limited (stock code: 00868), Xinyi Solar Holdings Limited (stock code: 00968), Xinyi Energy Holdings Limited (stock code: 03868) and Xinyi Electric Storage Holdings Limited (stock code: 08328), sent volunteers to participate in the “LST Buddy - Dragon Boat Festival Volunteer Event” organized recently by The Lok Sin Tong Benevolent Society, Kowloon (“Lok Sin Tong”), giving out Dragon Boat Festival gift packages and well wishes to elderly living alone and grassroots families.
The “LST Buddy - Dragon Boat Festival Volunteer Event” was held on 1 June (Saturday), with the Xinyi Group volunteer team made up of staffers of the group giving out gift packages at Tung Tau Estate, Wong Tai Sin and the Kowloon City District. The purpose of the event was to show care for the underprivileged in the community, especially the elderly living alone or elderly couples. Members of the volunteer team paid them visits and gave out Dragon Boat Festival gift packages to them, hoping to convey care and festive wishes to the elderly.
Dr LEE Yin Yee (S.B.S), Chairman of Xinyi Glass and Xinyi Solar , said, "With generosity and care from the heart, Xinyi companies take concrete actions to support charitable initiatives and give warmth to the society.
